Patricia Chu is a self-representing artist living in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Most of Patricia's artworks are watercolors and acrylic paintings and had been collected across North America, Europe and Australia.

Note from the Artist:
After all these years doing painting, I finally established this website to display some of my artworks for showcase. It's been a lot of things going on in my life in the past few years and I still decide to do what I really love - my paintings.
As a busy mom for two and one happens to be a special need boy with hemi-cerebral palsy, life was not easy. I'd stopped painting for a while due to my boy's medical condition. But thanks to God that everything turns out to be a bit smoother now; and at this stage of my life, I was able to pick up my paint brushes and create my art again.
Since I was a child, doodling is my favorite thing to do other than going to school. Art supply and comic rental stores in my childhood are like my second home. At my early teen ages, my textbooks always filled with doodling and sketches in and outside of the books. While everyone was preparing mid-terms or exams, I was busy drawing cartoons for comic fan club monthly magazine publishing. As I recalled that I'd paint a landscape painting of my high school for my friend as an art project or school contest. And her painting which was painted by me won the first price. XD (And then she immigrated to Australia with her family soon after.) However during university, I did regret that I didn't take any art courses. I ended up with a bachelor degree of sciences and worked in many different corporations; got married and have my first kid. And then when I was pregnant for my second, all the sudden I feel like to get my paint brushes back to my hand. So I started painting again.
Most my techniques are self-taught. Many of the paintings are the inspirations of my feelings, my life and images popping out of my head. Often times the images just slipped through my brain and all I did was to get my pen to sketch it down. I enjoyed painting landscapes and flowers; and you will find many floral or botanical themes in my works. Hope you enjoy them~
